PARKS AND RECREATION IN THE VILLAGE OF SOUTHAMPTON

The World War I Memorial at Agawam Park
GOLF COURSES
Although there are no golf courses within Southampton Village, there are 29 golf courses within 15 miles of the Village, ten of them open to the public. One of the private courses, located just outside the Village, is the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club — the site of 1896, 1986, 1995, and 2004 US Opens. Agawam Park at Monument Square contains a playground, bathroom facilities, and is adjacent to a 60-acre freshwater lake. It is home to the World War I Memorial.
The Southampton Center Arboretum and its gardens, the busts of the Ceasars, and its fountains are located adjacent to the Southampton Center (the former location of the Parrish Art Museum) at 25 Jobs Lane.
